Connex 60 Substation Controller  The
Connex 60 is an integrated gateway for remote terminal units (RTUs), high–performance
intelligent electronic devices (IEDs) and substation metering and control.
With 32–bit performance, 10/100BaseT DNP3 over TCP/IP Ethernet support,
support for local I/O, DNP3, Modbus, most SCADA protocols, and a multitude
of IEDs, the Connex 60 lets you manage communications through a single resource.
Setup is quick and easy, using a Microsoft Windows-based configuration program. You can also use LAN/WAN or telephone lines for remote configuration. The modular Connex 60 can be configured to fit your operations. It can serve as a single-box protocol converter/data concentrator, minus local I/O interfaces -- ideal for pole-top or pad-mounted installation. A Fast Ethernet Gateway is available for LAN/Enterprise WAN applications. Virtual PLC technology for computation and control; DDModbus protocol configuration; and OpEn DBC Profiler -- our IED database/communications plug-and-play profiling application -- round out a suite of tools for any remote application.
