Employment opportunities available at new EFACEC plant

Advanced Control Systems is proud to announce that our parent company, EFACEC, is expanding its business activities in the United States.  EFACEC, the largest Portuguese company in the field of electro-mechanics and electronics, is building a new plant in Effingham County, Georgia.  This manufacturing facility will be engaged in the design and manufacture of power transformers and will employ several hundred people over the next 3 years. We are excited to begin recruiting employees to staff this facility. Selected candidates will begin training in mid-summer 2008 and will have an extraordinary opportunity for professional and personal development. Interviews are expected to begin in early July and will continue until all positions are filled.

We are currently staffing for:

1. Electrical Engineers with emphasis in energy & power - 11 openings
2. Mechanical Engineers with knowledge of mechanical structures – 5 openings
3. Draftsmen with training or experience using AutoCAD – high school diploma or G.E.D. - 8 positions
4. Transformer Specialist, Production - 5 years production experience preferred with high school diploma or G.E.D. - 16 positions

Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, ambitious team players who welcome a challenge and the potential for growth based on demonstrated performance. All positions require a valid driver's license, ability to travel both domestically and internationally and a working knowledge of MS Office, Windows, etc. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is desirable. Attractive compensation based on qualifications and experience plus a full benefit package will be provided.
